Under the life President Dr.PuttarajGavaigalavar Dr.P.G.A.S.Samiti’s started in 1989. this samiti runs several educational institutions and pandit panchaxaraGavaigalavar Arts college is one of them. This college was started in 1991. P.P.G.Arts college has 11 Departments Political-Sciences one among them. I the Basavaraj .K. Pujar joined this college as a Lecturer in Political -Science in 1992. I am the lone Lecturer of this department. The department is working with great enthusiasm to impart comprehensive knowledge in the subject and the general competency that is required for graduates. We conduct seminars on the relevant topics of the subject. We conduct seminars for the students special Lecturers by the experts to getup to date knowledge from burning topics to forth coming problems in the subject. We inspire our students to read various books on the subject borrowing from the library to collect study material and to be well informed in the subject. We also conduct Monthly, Quarterly, Mid-term and Preparatory examinations to test their progress in study. we conduct Quiz competition in our subject to improve their knowledge’s.
We help students to develop their personality and overcome difficulty and adopt broader frame –work and positive attitude to reach the goal and inculcating to read and write ,making them to participate in voluntary organisations service. We Strive to develop creative thinking among students.
