Under the life Presidentship of Dr.Puttaraj Gavaigalavar Dr.P.G.A.S.Samiti has started in 1989. This samiti run some educational institutions and Pandit PanchaxaraGavaigalavar Arts college is one of them. This college was started in 1991 with 10 Departments. Computer Application Department. It was started in 2004-05 academic year.
I, Smt B. R.Yadavatti joined to this college as a Lecturer in Computer Application in the 2004. I am the lone Lecturer of this Department. The department is working with great enthusiasm to impart competitive and informed knowledge in both subject of the syllabus and others subject oriented matters.
We conduct seminars for the students special Lectures by the experts for the benefit of the students.
We inspire our students to read various books on the subject borrowing from the library and to collect study material and to be well informed in the subject.
We also conduct Monthly, Quarterly, Midterm and Preparatory examinations to test their progress in study. we conduct Quiz competition in our subject to improve their knowledge’s.
Objectives of the department
